Privacy policy

The short version

  • Fiqfold doesn't collect, store or share any personal data.
  • There's no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.
  • Your plans and 3D models are processed and kept on your own device.

This policy covers the Fiqfold app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, including its Home Screen widget, and this website. Fiqfold is made by Sentrifiq ("we", "us").

Data we collect

None. The app makes no network connections of its own and contains no third-party code for analytics, advertising or crash reporting. We never receive your plans, your models, your photos or anything about how you use the app.

Your plans and models

  • Floor plans you import (PDFs, images and photos) are read and turned into 3D models on your device.
  • Your projects are saved inside the app on your device. The Home Screen widget reads previews of them on the same device.
  • If your device is backed up to iCloud or to a computer, those backups can include the app's projects, according to your own backup settings.

Camera

The app asks for the camera only when you open the augmented reality view, to show the 3D model standing in your room. The live picture is processed on your device. The app doesn't take, save or send photos or video. You can turn camera access off at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Camera.

Photos and files

When you import from your photo library, you choose the photos in Apple's own picker, and the app receives only those. It can't see the rest of your library.

If you pick a file stored in iCloud Drive or another app's folder, your device fetches it through that service as usual. The app doesn't send anything back.

Apple Intelligence

Where Apple Intelligence is available, some features use Apple's on-device language model. It runs entirely on your device, and nothing is sent to us or to Apple.

Sharing and exporting

When you share or export a 3D model, you choose where it goes, with the system share sheet or by saving it to Files. From then on, the app or service you choose handles it under its own privacy policy.

Deleting your data

Delete a project in the app to remove it, or delete the app to remove all of its projects from your device. Because we hold no data about you, there's nothing for us to delete on our side.

Children

The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

This website

This website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking, and loads nothing from other companies. Like any website, our hosting providers process basic technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If the app ever starts collecting data, we'll say so here before that version is released.
